The Vernon is suitable as a single occupancy 24/7 support either 1:1 or 2:1. This has been carefully designed to cater to the unique requirements of our young people aged 16 and 17 and provides a private, secure haven where our young person can learn, grow, and navigate their unique paths alongside their keyworker.

We're committed to preparing our residents for a self-sufficient future. Young people in this accommodation will access our program focusing on essential life skills, financial literacy, and decision-making, ensuring a smooth transition to independent living.

This supported accommodation aims to provide inclusive and needs appropriate stability and consistency for young people, ensuring continuous access to local services such as education and healthcare and fosters the development of strong relationships within the community.
BERRI - Behaviour, Emotional wellbeing, Risk to self and others
We use BERRI, which is a clinical evaluation tool for identifying, tracking, and improving the outcomes of children with complex needs. BERRI covers Behaviour, Emotional wellbeing, Risk to self and others, Relationships, and Indicators of psychiatric or neurodevelopmental conditions. Miriam Silver, the creator of BERRI, oversaw thousands of children’s social care cases and developed this tool.
Employability and Jobs program (NEET)
To support our aims of preparing young people and relationship building we run a jobs programme. Young people that live in this property can have up to 25 hours per week employment experience with a local employer that we match them with based on their skillset and the employer’s requirements. Young people are supported into education either on campus or home schooling and we work with various collages to create bespoke courses and learning including our own short courses.
